School Profile

Emerald Shores Elementary School is located in a densely populated area of south Marion County. Opened in 1989, this school provides an excellent learning environment for our students. Presently, Emerald Shores has 671 students with 63% minority. Our school provides every student an educational experience specifically designed to meet their needs. The diversity of our students provides our school community with challenges and opportunities for learning, both academically and socially.

Special programs at Emerald Shores include K-kids, sponsored by our local Kiwanis Club and our 21st Century after school program. Our mascot is the Panther and our school colors are green and white.
